Christmas parade

We are getting ready for our City Christmas parade. Every year the city ask for volunteers to dress up as characters to promote the parade. We go to all the elementary schools and nursing homes in our town to do this. The little kids just love it. It is such great fun, and what a way to get into the Christmas spirit. In the evening they have the parade and the characters are in it, this year the kids and I joined our Church float and did that instead.
Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee

Hello Kitty (friend of ours)

Chipmunk (friend of ours)

This is Cat in the Hat and Gingerbread man.

That's me!

Thanks to Traci (Tweedle Dum) for the pictures.
We had so much fun doing this, this is our 2nd year and I hope we get to do it next year.

Merry CHRISTmas!!!

I'm sure you had a lot of fun doing that!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog and leave me a nice comment...I just saw an oatmeal container decorated somewhere and thought that was a great idea, too.

Hi Kim,

I stopped by from Home is Where the Heart is. I saw you were in Oklahoma and so am I!

That looks like a really fun parade and all of you dressed up are too cute!
