Several years back the Lord laid on our hearts that he needed us somewhere else, so we moved to another church. The first Sunday night there the clown ministry had the service, what fun. My family looked at me and said you need to join that, with big smiles on their faces. "Oh sure, I said, like I can do that."

Well 2 years later here I am, my new adventure.

The Ladies that teach this class came to me and ask if I would be interested in doing this. Of course!!! And what great teachers we have or had, clowns themselves. I wish I had pictures to show you of them, but I don't.

My prayer is that I will bring Glory to the Lord and make kids feel better. I feel I would like to go into the hospitals and talk to the kids that have terrible sicknesses (cancer, cf, etc.).

So please be praying for me I am still a little scared about doing this.

We had 16 people in our class but here are a few of my friends that went through it with me.

We had to come to our last class with our suits and makeup on, so some of us are still working on them. What fun it was to drive down the highway to go to the church with all that on. People just kept looking as they went by. I was a little afraid they would run off the road looking so long.

My wonderful mother took on redoing my suit. I found a spring jumper at a resale shop for $4 and bought some material, found the turtle neck for just .55 cents and Rue 21 was a big help with the socks and shoes. I still have some buttons to put on it and my daughter helped with putting some of them on, but my suit is pretty much done.

We still have clown graduation to go, so hopefully I can get through that. We will be in front of our families and friends so all shyness has to go.

So Lord please help me.
