Recycle

Have you ever bought anything that you just knew that your family would just love and use? Well, I have to and will probably do it again, because I never seem to learn my lesson.
This is one of those things that I bought. I was at a homeschool convention, had bought all that I needed for that year to get us started, so I didn't need anything else. But my friends and I came across the Magnificent Manager board. It has every hour on it to start your day, it comes with magnets to place on those hours to keep you organized, stars to tell you kids how awesome they are by doing their job and it's just a great board to use. That's the magic word to use. Yes, we used it for about 6 months and my kids never looked at it again. Not to say that other families didn't do well with theirs, we just didn't.
So know that my oldest has graduated and my youngest will graduated this year, we moved our school/office room downstairs and that board was going to be sold with all the other school books and things not needed anymore. Until I saw all these metal boards for sell and thought oh I must have one they look so useful (what is wrong with me). They have cute little designs on them and some are even calendars so that you never have to buy another paper one again. So, I went and started pricing them. I have to say I wasn't willing to pay that price on another metal board! But wait! I have one at home, it's blank on the back, I can use it can't I? I don't have to pay that price for one again do I? Of course not silly, just sit down long enough and pull out your pen paints and put something on it.
So that is what I did.
This is the before/front. See with just a hand full of magnets on it to give you the idea of it. And...
this is the after/back. Yes, I can still use the magnets on it. I haven't tried it yet but I think the Dry Erase pens can work on it also.
I have to say that I do love the Lord the way he brings things back to our memory and helps ME not to spend money that my Cowboy has worked so very hard for to provide for us.
God is so good!!!
May God bless your day with remembering things that you can use around the house before you go out and buy something new,
Kim
