Wow, what a busy spring, with Easter, Mother's Day, graduations, graduations parties, weddings, anniversaries and the list just goes on and on, and it's not coming to a end yet.
We had a young lady at our church yesterday raising money for her mission trip to Japan, she had been there before but the Lord has put Japan heavy on her heart and she can't wait to get back there. So Her and her family had a spaghetti dinner and silent auction, and sold jewlery after church. I bought a bracelet from her( I wish I could put a picture on her to show you but I can't my computer is down and I am using my daughter's laptop) it's a cross with a really neat design with colors of brown and turquise. Anyway, all the jewerly had scriptures on the back of them. The bracelet that I bought had a very fitting scripture on the back of it for me, this is it;
Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
After reading this scripture I told Cowboy that bracelet was just for me :) with all theses celebrations going on my mom had a heartache. We just about lost her, I thank God that we still have her with us.
She is doing very good because God's hand was in the whole situation as she was going through all of that mess.
But look at the 4th verse in this same book,
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"
This is what I am doing today for He is good always, no matter what, and we can't forget that.
Give all your worries to God and then just REJOICE in Him!
Happy Spring!
