Crazy end and beginning of the Month
This is how our month of May ended with Cowboy cutting hay. Then we went to...
the daughter and 2 of her teammates, leaving for Haiti for the summer, speaking at church to help raise money for their trip back down there for the summer. She loves it there and the children love her. Then the next weekend was Memorial Day weekend and it just went by to fast, we started with...
a family reunion. This is us having a little bit of fun, love this picture, the next day...
Rachel graduating from her 1st year at Victory Bible College the next day. She will go back and do another term with different studies but still toward her Missions studies. She is a wonderful little missionary (of course I am her mom and think she is the best). Then the next day...
Her and the rest of her teammates flew out for Florida so they can fly into Haiti the next morning. They have to fly into Haiti in the mornings because of the dangers of flying into that country. You just have a 2 hour window of safety of flying into Haiti. It is sad that it has to be so dangerous with the people in so much need and help still trying to get back on their feet from the earthquake. The children there are the ones that are suffering the most and that is why she feels has to go to give those babies down there some love. Very proud of her and her friends, they have very big hearts that God gave them for his people, all people.
Then next we jump into June with a wedding in the middle of the week and Kyle and I are the only ones able to go. It was a beautiful small country wedding in a little white chapel.
And then a little relaxing and decorating the front porch.
God is so good even when we get so busy we don't know which way we are going, we just need to remember to keep our eyes on him and we can get through it all.
May God bless you,
Kim

Wow, hope she has a safe trip there and back from Haiti! We're planning our next adventure which will be to WA to visit my brother, sister-in-law and their 3 girls, they just moved to an island and live on a little homestead. Will be driving there with our truck and truck camper.
Blessings,
Amy
I enjoyed my visit here! What a lovely blog and family! And I sure needed your reminders at the end of this post... thank you. I will hold tight to that one.. sometimes hard to focus on the most important when so much is going on with life :) -Tammy
