This picture was sent to me telling of a Texas tornado. Scary!!!
Well, this past week my family and I went to Omaha where my bone specialist is, no I'm not from there my doctors here in OK sent me up there when they found the bone cancer because of the doctor there, which was a super guy but has gone on to be with the Lord, was a great doctor. Anyway, we went back up there because back in June I had a new infection come up in my leg where the prosthetic is. (The bone had been cut out and a prosthetic bone was put in its place.) I didn't leave with a good report they want me to amputate. I left telling them that we would pray and let them know what we would do later.
I have been thinking about it a lot, of course. The verse that I kept going back to when I was going through the cancer treatments came back to me tonight and this picture made me think that is what I am looking at right know. But I have to keep looking to the Lord because he will be there no matter what happens.
Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
Everyone has their opinions on what I should do, but I am going to wait on the Lord and see what he wants me to do. I do thank all of my loved ones for their opinions but it will be my husband and I that will be living with the amputation.
"...do not fear...I am your God." Is.41:10

Kim,
You have made the right choice! God will never lead us in a way contrary to His perfect will for our lives. I pray His will becomes very plain to you and Keith, and that you grow in your confidence in Him. "He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it!" I love you Sister!
