11 years!

I spoke to my mom just the other day and she told me happy anniversary. I slowly said thank you and then realized that it had been 11 years ago on the 8th of January that I found out that I had osteosarcoma (bone cancer).

Wow how time flys when the Lord has taken care of everything.

Once I got to thinking about it the 8th that year was on a Thursday, so the whole weekend was funny to compare how that whole weekend went and by Monday morning we were in Omaha, NE to see a specialist, which is 8 hours away from us. But we had a super doctor. He would not tell us if we had a 50/5o chance or a 20/80 or anything like that, he just would said that he had other patiences that had battle this same cancer in OK. I found out 3 years later that life expectancy was just 2 years, maybe. Praise the Lord it has been 11 years and no thoughts of cancer anywhere, because that is what the Lord does. When he has healed you its gone for good, not to ever return or raise it's ugly head again. After the battle with the cancer was over the devil didn't like it so he has been battling for my right leg if not for my life for the past 10 years with a bone infection against and in the prosthetic that replaced the bone in my leg. The doctors in Omaha keep wanting me to just cut it(leg) off, the devil would like that. Anyway God is so good because he helps me through all of it and gives me a great family and friends that help me get through it all.

Isaiah 53:5
