Old Schools and Fresh Flowers

Indian Paint Brush
( This is one of my favorite flowers and it's here in OK also.)
We recently went back to Colorado for vacation. We stayed just about in the same area that we went to last year. It was very nice and we went with some friends and their kids, so we had a great time being able to do some extra fishing and shopping that we would have had to try to share with each other. We just shared our time with them. And it was great fun.
I just love Colorado, not just for the mountains, but for the great history that they preserve in their state. You can go through all kinds of little ghost towns and see something left from the past there and the state puts markers on them and tells all about the places. I just love that.
This time on our visit I got to noticing the old schools.
One of them we stayed across the street from, the old Maysville school. They had it all painted nice and looking good. We just didn't get to go inside, no one was there the week we stayed. So, of course, I took pictures of several we came across. Also for the month of July and August their flowers are in full bloom.
Enjoy the pictures of Old Schools and Fresh Flowers.

Can you see the outhouse beside it?

I got some really neat pictures of old barns while we were there, I will post them later.

I hope you enjoyed.
May God Bless your day,
